Employment & Eats: Wild About Wine
/Wine lovers rejoice, it's National Red Wine Day!
Truth is, a real wine lover doesn't need a national holiday to celebrate and the epitome of a wine connoisseur is none other than the Sommelier.
The Sommelier is responsible for understanding customers’ palates, having relationships with leading wine producers and the practical aspects of the wine trade. Sommeliers work with both the front-of-house helping patrons choose and taste wines, as well as the back-of-house, building a wine list and working with retailers and winemakers.
In the spirit of #NationalRedWineDay & #WineWednesday, we've detailed a few Sommelier opportunities available at some of our favorite NYC restaurants. Check them out below in no particular order.
